The Western Regional Health Authority is, a statutory body under the Ministry of

Health with responsibility for the management and operation of Public Health

Services within the parishes of St. James, Hanover, Trelawny, & Westmoreland.

Location: Savanna-La-Mar Hospital

Senior Medical Officer, HPC/MO 5
Consultant – (Accident & Emergency), HPC/MO 4
Senior Resident – (Internal Medicine), HPC/MO3
Medical Officers - (Junior Residents) - HPC/MO 1
Medical Officers - (Residents) - HPC/MO 2
Consultant – General Sugery, HPC/MO 4

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited medical school.
Registration with the Medical Council of Jamaica.
Current Practicing Certificate
Five (5) years relevant post-registration experience (HPC/MO2 - HPC/MO4 only)
Postgraduate degree in relevant medical specialty (HPC/MO3 & HPC/MO4 only)
